The wave of hurricanes that carved a swath of carnage through the Caribbean, the Florida Keys and Florida’s mainland resulted in strong response from faculty, students and staff at the University of Miami who ferried supplies to Caribbean islands, volunteered to help clean up several South Florida locations and donated much needed staples for those hardest hit.
